When you show interest, we collect your selected topic, preferred city and month, contact method, contact details, and an optional name. If formal registration opens, we may also collect attendee details, registration status, and payment transaction references.
Administrators provide account and authentication information. We may also retain limited technical records, such as request timestamps and security logs, to operate and protect the website.
How we use your information
We use interest information to evaluate demand for a topic in a city and month, organize potential events, and contact you if relevant formal registration becomes available. We use registration information to communicate confirmed event details, process bookings, provide support, and meet record-keeping obligations.
Contact preferences
We contact you through the method you choose—such as email, phone, or another handle. Providing contact details does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. You may ask us to stop event follow-up at any time.
Payments and registration
Payments may be processed by PayPal or Stripe after formal registration begins. The Big Plot stores payment status and transaction references needed to confirm a seat, but does not store your PayPal password or full payment-card number. The selected payment provider processes your payment under its own privacy terms.
Cookies and security
Essential cookies support secure sign-in, session continuity, and request protection. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information where applicable. Some registration, transaction, or security records may need to be retained when required by law or legitimate operational needs.
